Flu Fighters

Just want to share with u what i had read ...may be this is very common you might forget...



Vitamin C - to keep the mucous membranes lining the respiratory tract healthy.
source- citrus fruit,berries, red capsicum & broccoli.


Vitamin E - this antioxidant helps the body's defence system & works best when it comes from foods.

source- avocado,wheatgerm, roll oats,almonds & other nuts.


Omega-3 fat- helps prevent inflammatory reactions in the body.
source- fish,walnut,sunflower seed & canola oil
.


Carotenoids - helps the body resist various invading organisms.

source - all brightly coloured fruits & vegetables like carrot, pumpkin...


Zinc - helps the body fight those invading organisms.

source - oyster, meat, & soy & dairy product

no wonder my lecturer told me to take lots of vitamin C when one's having flu
